By using GetFunding you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What GetFunding is, and is not
GetFunding is a directory and introduction service. We are not a broker, an investment adviser, a stock exchange or a crowdfunding platform. We do not handle money, do not recommend investments, and do not check the accuracy of what founders publish. Any investment is a private arrangement between the founder and the investor, and you should do your own diligence and take professional advice.
Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and give us accurate information.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- One person, one account. Do not sign in as someone else.
Founders
- Only list a company you are authorised to represent.
- Your teaser is public. Do not put anything in it you would not publish on your own website.
- Do not publish misleading figures. Traction, revenue and team claims must be true when you make them.
- You keep ownership of what you publish, and you grant us permission to display it as described in the privacy policy.
Investors
Verified investors agree to the investor code of conduct:
- Pitches are confidential. Do not copy, share, forward or use them for anything other than evaluating an investment.
- Do not contact a founder outside GetFunding about their listing until they have accepted your interest.
- Every pitch you open is logged and shown to the founder.
- You are who you said you are, and you invest the way you described.
Verification is our judgement, based on what you give us. It is not an endorsement or a regulatory status, and we can refuse, suspend or revoke it at any time. Three reports from different founders within 30 days suspend verification automatically until it is reviewed again.
Things you must not do
- Scrape, bulk-download or automate access to the service.
- Get around the limits, watermarks or access controls.
- Use the service to sell services to founders, or to spam or harass anyone.
- Upload forged documents or impersonate a person or a firm.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment outcomes, for what users publish, or for what users do with information they obtain here, including any misuse of an idea. Our total liability to you is limited to ₹1,000.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction.
